This Gullfoss waterfall 360 degree panorama shows the majestic Gullfoss waterfall, a part of the famous Golden Circle. The wide Hvita River, South Iceland originates from Langjökull Glacier. About a kilometre above the falls it turns sharply to the right and flows down into a wide curved three-step \”staircase\”. It then abruptly plunges in two stages (11 metres or 36 feet, and 21 metres or 69 feet) into a crevice 32 metres (105 ft) deep.
Together with Þingvellir and the geothermal/geyser area at Geysir, Arnessysla, Iceland, Gullfoss forms part of the The Golden Circle, a popular day excursion for tourists in Iceland.
Gullfoss is also a part of our Golden Circle VR tour that can be seen here
