Eystrahorn Mountain

Location

Eystrahorn Mountain is a steep 756 m. high mountain in the southeast part of Iceland. The mountain is mostly made up of gabbro and granophyre and precious minerals have been found there, such as gold, silver and mercury.

Eystrahorn mountain is equally as impressive as it´s famous neighbor, Vestrahorn (Stokksnes) mountain, but for some reason doesn’t get nearly as much attention as Vestrahorn (appr.40 km.away)
