Skálafellsjökull, a non-surging outlet of the southeastern margin of the Vatnajökull ice-cap in SE Iceland. It flows for approximately 25 km from the Breiðabunga plateau in eastern Vatnajökull.

Nearby places: Heinabergsjökull, Fláajökull, Hoffellsjökull

The glacier descends steeply from the lava plateau onto a low elevation foreland, where it splays out to form a piedmont lobe.
